Physiotherapy Sessions

Currently suspended after therapist left. Try Dance instead for exercise.

The ethos of the Physiotherapy Exercise Group is to offer everyone the opportunity to participate in exercises that address their precise needs. The expectation is not to replace exercise you are currently doing, but to supplement and in some cases refine it.

The aim of the sessions is to use specific exercises for improving flexibility, strength and general fitness, making sure particular physical challenges associated with living with Parkinson’s are addressed. Although we do some group exercise, the main focus for each session is for participants to perform bespoke exercises to address their individual needs. Group members have exercise plans that they may follow at home, between the group sessions.

The Group currently runs on the third Monday of each month at Bincombe Court, Weymouth and the cost is £5 per session. For further information contact Dave Clegg.
